Montpellier stays as the luggage and home base from 5-12 June, with Saturday 13 June used as the travel day toward Switzerland via the Marseille Airport / Aix-en-Provence TGV area, then the current SWISS direct Marseille to Zurich option around 14:40 to 16:05.

Sunday 14 June is a slow Zurich morning and lunch, then an afternoon Zurich to Konstanz train of about 1-1.5 hours. Overnight in Konstanz and use the evening to settle in, collect bikes if possible, and prep for the cycling trip.

Lake Constance is now the romantic cycling chapter: a polished, cycle-path friendly loop through Germany, Switzerland, and Austria, with lakeside towns, swim spots, vineyards, Rhine Falls, Lindau, Meersburg, and Mainau.

After cycling, return bikes in Konstanz on Saturday 20 June, train directly to Zurich HB, continue to Lyon Part-Dieu, and overnight in Lyon. On Sunday 21 June, have a slow Lyon brunch before the direct TGV back to Montpellier Saint-Roch.

Nice runs from Monday 22 June to Sunday 28 June, then Belgrade becomes the end-of-trip add-on. Fly Nice to Belgrade on Sunday night, stay in Belgrade from 29 June to 1 July, then fly Belgrade to Paris for the finale.
